A8 – Insulated (three-layer) flue components with flanges
Use of twin wall flanged components
For the construction of new chimneys up to 6 m in height, independent and self-standing from the point of view of statics. Suitable for seismically unstable soils.Applicable for heating oil powered electric generators and incineration plants.
Quality
They can withstand temperatures from 600 °C to 700 °C, and even sudden changes from 800 °C to 950°C. For higher temperatures thicker insulation is required (70 or 100mm), or insulation that is more resistant than traditional wool insulation.
Erected chimneys are very stable because at each end of the inner wall there is a flange with screw holes and all the components are screwed. Flanges are manufactured according to DIN24150. When assembling a chimney they are covered by couplings so that they are not visible.
Flanged components are a step ahead from insulated (3-ply) flue components.(A2),and can be supplied in all dimensions. LIM-MONT offers a wide range of material thicknesses and diameters, according to customers’ requirements.
